Photovoltaic
PV systems offer mainly two economic advantages: the income from production (the obtained incentive, in fact, is proportional to the production of electrical energy of the PV system) and use of the electrical energy produced by the PV system for self-consumption.
The latter effectively means saving on the electrical bill, as it allows the user to no longer buy the amount required for his/her own use from the electrical energy network. Furthermore, selling electrical energy that is produced and not consumed for own use offers an explicit source of income. Advantages that we can summarise as follows:
> Extreme reliability as there are no moving parts (useful life of over 25 years)
> Maintenance costs for the PV system are reduced to a minimum
> System modularity (to increase the size simply increase the number of modules)
There are environmental advantages as well, given that all territories represent an actual capital that needs to be safeguarded and protected.
Today, safeguarding the territory represents one of the main present day and future challenges of economic development, and to this regard the choice for PV represents one of the most convenient and most common solutions opted for in construction. Advantages that we can summarise as follows:
> Absence of any type of polluting emissions
> Saving fossil fuels
> Awareness and satisfaction in having made a sustainable life choice
